!Easy Screen Saver Station is something that is worth trying out, especially if you don't know what to do with all your pictures. Like the name suggests, it's a tool for creating screen savers, but it looks and feels better than other similar software out there.

The download will take up just over one and a half Mb of your free space. Even with a weaker Internet connection, you can still get it relatively fast. The installation wizard will only prompt you for a destination path and agreeing or not to some terms and conditions.

The interface has a modern look and it doesn't require navigating through large menus and endless sets of options. There's still a toolbar and top menus, but most actions can be made directly from the interface. The buttons are smartly grouped all over the main window, in areas you'll be working most of the time.

Getting started requires going through a simple wizard, launched by the New button from the toolbar. During the steps of the wizard you'll choose from options regarding a background and its opacity, choose your images, a soundtrack, default foreground settings and so on.

When finishing with the wizard, the interface will look more lively. All its options and settings will become available and you can get to business. The images may be placed in a certain order by clicking and dragging them around in the list from the left side of the window. The main area of the interface features a preview of the selected image. You can make settings to individual images using the buttons placed on the right side of the preview. These allow for general settings such as rotating, flipping or changing the color settings to a selected window. Another button from this area lets you choose a transition effect. A window will show up and all you need to do here is choose between transition in or out and click on one of the many animated thumbnails.

You can add other images to the project at any time without needing to go through the wizard all over again. It's much more easy to just click an Add button near the images list. This also lets you add flash animations and logos. It's strange that the Add button isn't available before you run the new project wizard. You can do the same if you change your mind about the background music. Just click a button from the bottom of the window and choose an MP3 or WMA audio file. Finally, you can save the screen saver using various file formats like .scr, .ssd or an auto installing .exe. Alternatively, you can install the screen saver directly from the program's interface.
